Film Analysis... Complete.

I have finished my Film analysis today. The film I chose to look at was Cinderella. I decided that would be a good choice because of the array of female character in the story. It has the main female types of Heroine, Evil Step mother, and Fairy Godmother. I felt this would be good to analyse as it will relate to my dissertation topic. Hopefully I've done ok. Still not too sure about whether I've reference correctly, but we'll see.

Talking Dog is nearly finished

Yesterday I finished animating for the card trick. I had to make a few final changes to some of the scenes, and Andy, helped change one of the landings and take offs of the female astronaut. I then moved on to listening to tracks to underlay beneath the soundtrack which was supplied by the bbc. The original soundtrack consists of speech and beeps. The track which I will use needs to fit in well with this. It has also been suggested that I should find some sound effects to go along with the arrival of the space buggy. Here is the piece without the extra sound effects.

The Card trick- Section One

I was told that the best thing to do was do the animating in little sections, in case something happens to one of the files. This way I wont loose the whole film. So here is the first section, which is finished as far as I am concerned. Though not too sure about the title scene, perhaps is a little too long.

I am going to Fail.

There is no hope, I am going fail the scripting and programming section of the course, which will then in turn drag the rest of my grades down, so why even bother bothereing, if I am destined to graduate with a poor degree because of a section of the course that I and everyone else around me doesnt understand.

The Card Trick Animatic

Now that I have completed the animatic, I am going to create the components this afternoon with the hope of beginning to animate tomorrow. I plan to have completed most of my animating by the end of next week, so I have just under a week to tidying up everything. thats the plan anyway...

This is the still image, which will show at the beginning of my animation. I think I will have the important bit (who its by) scroll on somehow, once I work out how to make that happen!

Scripting and programming

Ok, so I have just been told that what we are aiming for is being able to create our own script and I have to be honest I am panicking! I dont know how on earth I am going to do that, despite only mssing on lesson I am totally lost as to what to do!

So I have no way of uploading my artwork and mailing it so that Andy can see it which isnt too good. It'll just have to wait until the beginning of next term I think.

mouse to mermaid

So I have just started reading some essays from mouse to mermaid for my second Lit review, , they seem preety interesting. I am just focusing on those with I think will be good research for my disertation topic , to save on reading later on. I am a bit worried about whether I referenced right for the last essay, but I guess I will have to wait for my comments back from Ann to find out.
