So I submitted about 3000 words for the draft, and wasn't overly confident about the quality of my writing and so didnt carry on, until I had heard back from Ann, who is supervising our essays.
Although my introduction was good, I haven't referenced properly yet and as soon as I begin to look at background theory, the structure gets very messy. I thought she may say this, as I didn't quite know how to approach the structuring of the individual sections.
Also I had not numbered my pages, or included a word count.
To help with tthe structuring Ann suggested the I label each paragraph. For example, Attitudes to parents, agae and sexuality, social ideals. And make sure that each sections builds and follows on from what has been said before.
